User data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of user and connected-account data stored by Social Poster. Meta, Google, and other platforms require a public deletion process. Use it if you connected a Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn account to poster.caseysseo.com.
What we delete
When we complete a deletion request we remove, as applicable:
- OAuth and Page tokens for Google / YouTube, Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Channel, Page, and profile identifiers we stored for that connection.
- Media files we stored in Google Cloud Storage for that company, if you ask us to delete the company or its library.
- Draft and scheduled post records we no longer need.
We may keep a minimal record of the request (date and email) so we can show we handled it. Content already published to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn stays on those platforms until you delete it there.
How to request deletion
- Email casey@caseysseo.com with the subject “Social Poster data deletion.”
- Include the company name in Social Poster, the email or name on the connected Google / Meta / LinkedIn account, and which platforms to disconnect or delete.
- We will confirm and delete the stored tokens and related data, usually within 30 days (often sooner).
If you can still sign in, you can also open Connections and click Disconnect for YouTube, LinkedIn, or Facebook. That removes those tokens immediately.
Revoke access yourself
- Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Facebook / Instagram: Facebook Business Integrations
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services (or the equivalent Apps screen in your account)
