Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Casey's SEO (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Social Poster at https://poster.caseysseo.com (the “Service”). It is written for Google, YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and other platform reviews as well as for people who sign in.
1. Who we are
Social Poster is a publishing tool operated by Casey's SEO in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is used by Casey's SEO to schedule and publish video and related copy to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and similar channels for businesses we work with. It is not a public social network and it is not open to the general public.

2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account credentials. A username and password for people Casey's SEO authorizes to sign in.
- Company and channel details. Business names, site URLs, phone numbers, and the YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts you connect.
- Connected-account tokens. OAuth access and refresh tokens, Page tokens, channel IDs, Page IDs, Instagram user IDs, and LinkedIn person or organization identifiers. We store these so we can publish on your behalf after you click Connect.
- Content you upload or generate. Videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, captions, tags, schedules, and related-video choices. Files are stored in Google Cloud Storage.
- Technical logs. Standard server logs on Google App Engine (time, URL, and similar request metadata) used to keep the Service running.
We do not run ads on Social Poster. We do not sell personal information. We do not buy marketing lists to populate this tool.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Sign you in and keep the session secure.
- Connect YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms you choose.
- Upload, schedule, and publish posts to those platforms.
- Generate titles, descriptions, and captions with AI (Anthropic Claude and/or Google Gemini) from the media and text you provide.
- Show calendars, media libraries, and publish status to signed-in operators.
- Fix errors and keep the Service available.
We do not use connected-account data to train advertising profiles, to sell data, or to contact people in a connected channel’s audience except by publishing the content you queued.
4. Google and YouTube
If you connect Google / YouTube, Social Poster requests permission to upload and manage videos on the YouTube channel you select (including youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl). We use that access only to list channel videos when needed, upload or schedule videos, set titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and privacy, and post an optional comment you approve.
Social Poster’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
By using YouTube features of Social Poster, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can revoke Social Poster’s Google access at Google Account permissions. You can also disconnect YouTube inside Social Poster (Connections).
5. Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
If you connect a Facebook Page (and Instagram when it is linked to that Page), we store a Page access token and related IDs so we can publish feed posts, Reels, and scheduled Page video. We use Meta APIs only to list Pages you admin, publish or schedule the content you queue, and read publish status needed to finish a job.
We do not use Meta data to build profiles of Page fans, to scrape personal profiles, or to run ads. Meta’s policies apply to content you publish through the Service. You can remove Social Poster’s access in Facebook Business Integrations and by disconnecting the Page in Social Poster.
To request deletion of Meta-related data we store, see User data deletion.
6. LinkedIn
If you connect LinkedIn, we receive tokens and basic profile information (such as name) and, if you pick a Company Page, organization identifiers. We use that access only to publish posts to the personal profile or Company Page you select. You can revoke access in your LinkedIn account settings and by disconnecting LinkedIn in Social Poster.
7. AI providers
When you ask Social Poster to generate copy, we send the relevant title, transcript, thumbnail, or caption context to Anthropic and/or Google so a model can write descriptions and captions. We do not send your platform passwords. Those providers process that content under their own terms.
8. Where data lives and who we share it with
The Service runs on Google Cloud (App Engine, Firestore, and Cloud Storage) in support of Casey's SEO. We share information with:
- Google Cloud, as the host.
- YouTube, Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, as the destinations you connect and publish to.
- Anthropic and Google, when you generate copy.
- A vendor or professional we hire to operate or repair the Service, under confidentiality, if needed.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information or connected-account data.
9. Retention
We keep company records, media, post history, and tokens for as long as the company is used in Social Poster and as needed to publish queued jobs. When you disconnect a platform, we delete or overwrite that platform’s tokens. When you ask us to delete a company or an account’s data, we remove stored tokens, media we hold for that company, and post records we no longer need to operate the Service, unless we must keep a limited record for security or legal reasons.
10. Security
Access to Social Poster requires a sign-in. Tokens and secrets are stored in Google Firestore, not in public pages. Traffic to poster.caseysseo.com uses HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
11. Your choices
- Disconnect a platform on the company’s Connections page.
- Revoke access at Google, Meta, or LinkedIn as described above.
- Email casey@caseysseo.com to request a copy, correction, or deletion of data we store. See User data deletion.
12. Children
Social Poster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is a business publishing tool.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. The current policy will always be posted at https://poster.caseysseo.com/privacy.
