1. Who we are

Social Poster is a business publishing tool operated by Casey's SEO in Colorado Springs, Colorado. People with a Social Poster account use it to connect their (or their client’s) YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and similar channels, then upload, schedule, and publish content they submit. It is not a consumer social network, a public feed, or a place to browse other people’s posts.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

We do not run ads on Social Poster. We do not sell personal information. We do not buy marketing lists to populate this tool.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

We do not use connected-account data to train advertising profiles, to sell data, or to contact people in a connected channel’s audience except by publishing the content you queued.

4. Google and YouTube

To connect YouTube you sign in with Google on Google’s login screen and grant Social Poster permission for the channel you select. We request YouTube upload and management scopes (including youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl). We use that access only to list channel videos when needed, upload or schedule videos, set titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and privacy, and post an optional comment you approve. We do not use Google data to build advertising profiles, and we do not read or publish to Google accounts you did not connect.

Social Poster’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By using YouTube features of Social Poster, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can revoke Social Poster’s Google access at Google Account permissions. You can also disconnect YouTube inside Social Poster (Connections).

5. Facebook, Instagram, and Threads (Meta)

To connect Facebook or Instagram you sign in with Meta (Facebook Login and, where offered, Instagram login) on Meta’s screens and grant Social Poster permission. We use that access to list Facebook Pages and professional Instagram accounts you admin, obtain a Page or Instagram token, and publish or schedule the feed posts, Reels, and Page video you queue. To connect Threads you sign in with Threads / Meta OAuth; we store a Threads token and user ID to publish text, image, and video posts you queue. We use Meta APIs only for those connections, to publish or schedule content you submit, and to read publish status needed to finish a job.

We do not post to Facebook, Instagram, or Threads until you save and publish (or schedule) in Social Poster. We do not use Meta data to build profiles of Page fans or Instagram followers, to scrape personal profiles, or to run ads. We do not sell Meta data. Meta’s policies apply to content you publish through the Service. You can remove Social Poster’s access in Facebook Business Integrations and by disconnecting Facebook, Instagram, or Threads in Social Poster.

To request deletion of Meta-related data we store, see User data deletion.

6. LinkedIn

To connect LinkedIn you sign in on LinkedIn’s login screen. We receive tokens and basic profile information (such as name) and, if you pick a Company Page, organization identifiers. We use that access only to publish posts to the personal profile or Company Page you select. You can revoke access in your LinkedIn account settings and by disconnecting LinkedIn in Social Poster.

6a. Pinterest

To connect Pinterest you sign in on Pinterest’s login screen and grant Social Poster permission to see your boards and create Pins. We store an access token, refresh token, your Pinterest username, and the board you pick. We use that access only to list boards you own and to publish image or video Pins you queue. We do not read other people’s Pins, scrape the Pinterest feed, or run ads. You can revoke access in your Pinterest account settings and by disconnecting Pinterest in Social Poster.

6b. Blogger

To connect Blogger you sign in with Google and grant Social Poster permission to manage posts on a blog you own. We store a Google access token, refresh token, and the blog id and name you pick. We use that access only to list your blogs and to publish the posts you queue (title, write-up, and a link back). We do not read other people’s blogs or change blog settings. You can revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and by disconnecting Blogger in Social Poster. This login is separate from the YouTube connection.

7. AI providers

When you ask Social Poster to generate copy, we send the relevant title, transcript, thumbnail, or caption context to Anthropic and/or Google so a model can write descriptions and captions. We do not send your platform passwords. Those providers process that content under their own terms.

We do not sell your personal information or connected-account data.

9. Retention

We keep company records, media, post history, and tokens for as long as the company is used in Social Poster and as needed to publish queued jobs. When you disconnect a platform, we delete or overwrite that platform’s tokens. When you ask us to delete a company or an account’s data, we remove stored tokens, media we hold for that company, and post records we no longer need to operate the Service, unless we must keep a limited record for security or legal reasons.

10. Security

Using Social Poster requires a Social Poster account. Platform tokens and secrets are stored in Google Firestore, not on public pages. Traffic to poster.caseysseo.com uses HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
